Hawaiian Tropic® Zone Restaurant Opens in Times Square
New York, NY---Bringing the glitz and entertainment back into fine dining, Hawaiian Tropic® Zone tantalizes the senses as it splashes into a 16,000 square-foot tri-level location at 729 Seventh Avenue and establishes an exciting nightlife destination in Times Square, NYC. Olympic style flame torches wrap the entire façade of the building inviting guests to experience an exotic journey separating themselves from the concrete jungle. Sleek modern décor awaits as you enter the cavernous space, featuring a two-story waterfall followed by a three-tier seating level focusing on a larger than life video wall behind the happening bar, that features a cat-walk stage for nightly entertainment. This experience can only be enhanced by the friendly exotic Hawaiian Tropic models, sporting exclusive Nicole Miller-designed fuschia bikinis and floral sarongs, who will serve as Table Concierges to attend to patrons’ every dining need and star in a nightly beauty pageant to engage the patrons.
"I am so energized with this vision for a fun nightlife destination that will revolutionize Times Square in a hip way," expressed co-owner Dennis Riese. "I have blended the best talents to create striking design, a unique interactive experience with beautiful women, and a female-friendly menu that will entice men and women in a way that is unparalleled in this city or any other." The creative menu consists of tantalizing treats from Executive Chef David Burke, of critically acclaimed davidburke & donatella, including Swordfish Benedict and his signature Cheesecake Lollipops. "We’ve created a sexy, stylish menu that fits into the ambience and excitement of Hawaiian Tropic Zone," said David Burke. "I’m really looking forward to being part of such a unique concept with all its style and excitement."
Quench your thirst with an array of fine wines and signature cocktails including the "Lava Margarita" and the "White Beach Bellini". Unlike other restaurants, sharing of entrees is encouraged. The kitchen will stay open until after mid-night daily and will also be open for lunch with a capacity to serve close to 300 patrons. An inviting lounge on the lower level provides open access for all diners to enjoy a cocktail pre-or-post dinner and dance to the rhythms of the hottest DJ’s. Private party rooms can be utilized for a variety of functions.

"The beauty of the Tropic Zone - the part of the world that is sultry, rich in vegetation, inhabited by exotic birds and wild animals and covered with rainforests and coral reefs, is the inspiration for the design of Hawaiian Tropic Zone," explained Jeffrey Beers. "The restaurant is intended to be a transporting experience, a theatrical stage with color kinetics of lime greens, fuschia, oranges and reds, and flattering dramatic lighting throughout."A small retail environment will showcase the exclusive Nicole Miller Hawaiian Tropic® Zone swimwear and sarong, as well as custom T-shirts and tank designs and a handful of key Hawaiian Tropic suntan and beauty essentials. Hawaiian Tropic® Zone has plans to expand its vision to additional cities within the next year including the Fall 2007 debut in Las Vegas at the new Miracle Mile Shops at the new Planet Hollywood Hotel at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue. "Get ready to experience the tropics in a hot new way," added Riese.
