North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii – October 2nd, 2004 – Prestigious sun care provider Hawaiian Tropic celebrated the 22nd Annual Miss Hawaiian Tropic® International United States Pageant Finals presented by TRIM SPA at Oahu, Hawaii’s lavish Turtle Bay Resort from September 27th through October 2nd, 2004.
The top four finalists are: Laura Croft, Orlando, Florida; Shana Prevette, Atlanta, Georgia; Amanda Henkel, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Christina Rojas, Dallas, Texas. Each will go on to represent the United States in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic ® International Pageant to be held at the glamorous Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada in April of 2005. Other winners include, Tylee Goddard, Cheyenne, Wyoming for Miss Congeniality, and Valerie Carpender, Minneapolis, Minnesota for Miss Photogenic.
One hundred and five gorgeous contestants from across the country showed off their charisma, charm and beauty during the competition for this year’s theme a “Journey through the Hawaiian Tropic Secret Garden”. The pageant finale, which took place on October 2nd, was hosted by actor Jeremy London, and co-hosted by Ashley Smith, the reigning 2004 Miss Hawaiian Tropic® International, as well as the talented Sterling Rice.
The Turtle Bay Resort’s luxurious white sandy beaches, panoramic ocean views, and breathtaking sun-drenched horizons served as a perfect backdrop for the pageant events. Festivities were filmed by Sterling productions in conjunction with Bennett Productions, Inc., for an upcoming one-hour televised special that will be broadcasting nationally in the spring/summer of 2005.
